Johann Scholtz heads the firm's Banking, Projects and Regulatory Practice. He specialises in all aspects of financial services law and regulation. Johann has experience in high-profile insider trading investigations, money laundering and market abuse matters, mutual funds, collective investment schemes and asset management, stock exchange and securities law, banking law and regulation, consumer protection and credit law, making representations to the Financial Services Board and other regulators, and representing clients in court and before enquiries and tribunals. He has been chairman of the Gauteng Law Council and the Insurance Committee of the International Bar Association.
