David is the Chairman of Werksmans Attorneys and is experienced in all fields of commercial litigation. He has been involved in high-profile and precedent-setting matters, with a focus on contractual disputes and adversarial proceedings arising out of mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs and take-overs and flotations/listings. David regularly represents clients involved in complex litigation - particularly matters involving simultaneous civil, criminal and administrative proceedings. His expertise extends to arbitration, mediation and alternative dispute resolution. David holds a BA LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand.
