Khaled Abou El Houda is the managing partner of Houda Law Firm, formerly known as Kanjo & Houda Law Firm. He has extensive experience advising and providing legal assistance to foreign companies in Senegal. He has also been involved in the establishment of numerous mining, oil & gas, and energy projects in Senegal and the sub region. He has established himself as a leading specialist in mergers & acquisitions and project finance. His language skills (fluent in French, English, Arabic, and Wolof) and his ability to adapt to multicultural environments has allowed him to work for clients in Africa, Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.

Houda co-authored “Retour sur l’Exequatur des Sentences CIRDI” and the book “The Register of Trade OHADA.” He is involved in the drafting of the book “Doing Business” published annually by the World Bank. He is the contributing editor of the Senegal chapter for the 2017 African Law and Business Special Report on Investment in Africa.

Houda earned a Masters Degree in Business Law from Aix-Marseille University (France) in 1997 and a Banking and Finance Business Law Masters Degree from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar (Senegal) in 2001.
